BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

At SALTY LUXE Expeditions, our goal is to create extraordinary travel experiences in some of the most beautiful places on earth.
The following Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between SALTY LUXE Expeditions and our guests. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, protect both parties, and allow us to deliver safe and seamless expeditions.
Please read them carefully before booking.

Key Booking Information
– A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on a SALTY LUXE Expedition
– All guest cancellations are non-refundable
– Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants
– Flights and international travel arrangements are the responsibility of the guest unless otherwise specified
– Wildlife sightings and natural conditions cannot be guaranteed
– SALTY LUXE Expeditions reserves the right to adjust itineraries when necessary for safety, weather, operational or logistical reasons
– By booking a SALTY LUXE Expedition you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions
Applicability of Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all SALTY LUXE Expeditions unless otherwise stated in a specific expedition itinerary or trip addendum.
By making a booking with SALTY LUXE Expeditions participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS
1.1 Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on any SALTY LUXE Expedition.
1.2 Payment Schedule
The payment schedule for the remaining balance will be outlined at the time of booking through our secure booking platform WeTravel.
Participants will be able to view their full payment schedule within their WeTravel account where all upcoming payment dates and amounts are clearly displayed.
Failure to make payments by the specified due dates may result in cancellation of the booking at the discretion of SALTY LUXE Expeditions.
Participants are responsible for ensuring their payment method remains valid for scheduled payments.
1.3 Currency
Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.

CANCELLATION POLICY
2.1 Guest Cancellation
If a participant cancels their booking for any reason cancellation must be made in writing.
All payments made to SALTY LUXE Expeditions are strictly non-refundable including the initial deposit and any subsequent payments.
This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation including but not limited to:
– personal circumstances
– illness or injury
– flight cancellations or travel delays
– visa issues
– geopolitical events
– airline disruptions
– government travel advisories
– any other unforeseen circumstances
Participants acknowledge that global travel conditions airline operations and geopolitical situations may change at any time and that such circumstances do not qualify for refunds from SALTY LUXE Expeditions.
For this reason comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.

2.2 Trip Cancellation by SALTY LUXE
In the unlikely event SALTY LUXE Expeditions must cancel an expedition participants will be offered:
– a rescheduled trip date
– a credit toward a future SALTY LUXE Expedition

If a participant cannot attend the rescheduled trip SALTY LUXE may offer a refund minus any unrecoverable costs already paid to third-party suppliers. Such costs may include but are not limited to:
– accommodation
– transport
– charter vessels
– permits
– guides
– operational expenses

2.3 Additional Expenses
SALTY LUXE Expeditions is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants related to the trip including but not limited to:
– flights
– visas
– travel insurance
– vaccinations
– pre or post trip accommodation
– personal travel arrangements

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.
Insurance must include coverage for:
– trip cancellation
– trip interruption
– medical expenses
– emergency evacuation
– airline or transportation disruption
– personal liability

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Participants are responsible for arranging their own international travel unless otherwise stated.
SALTY LUXE Expeditions is not responsible for:
– flight delays
– airline cancellations
– airspace closures
– airline route changes or flight rerouting
– missed connections
– border closures
– visa issues
– government travel restrictions

HEALTH & FITNESS
Participants must ensure they are in good health and physically capable of participating in expedition activities.
Some expeditions may involve outdoor activities swimming wildlife encounters or travel in remote locations.
SALTY LUXE Expeditions reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or whose participation may pose a risk to themselves or others.

ITINERARY CHANGES
While every effort will be made to operate expeditions as advertised itineraries may change due to weather conditions safety considerations wildlife behaviour operational requirements or supplier availability.
Wildlife sightings and natural conditions cannot be guaranteed.

THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS
SALTY LUXE Expeditions works with independent third-party suppliers including hotels airlines transport providers guides and activity operators. SALTY LUXE Expeditions is not responsible for the acts omissions errors delays or service changes of these third-party providers.

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES
Participants agree to:
– follow safety instructions from guides and hosts
– behave respectfully toward fellow guests and local communities
– respect wildlife and natural environments
SALTY LUXE Expeditions reserves the right to remove any participant from the expedition if behaviour is disruptive unsafe or inappropriate.
No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE TRIP
If a participant joins the expedition late leaves the expedition early or misses any portion of the itinerary no refunds will be provided for unused services.

FORCE MAJEURE
SALTY LUXE Expeditions shall not be liable for delays changes or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our control including:
– war or threat of war
– terrorist activity
– political instability
– airline or airspace closures
– airline route changes or flight rerouting
– government travel restrictions
– natural disasters
– pandemics
– extreme weather events
– transport disruptions

MINIMUM PARTICIPATION
SALTY LUXE Expeditions reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an expedition if the minimum number of participants required to operate the trip is not met.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
Photography and videography may occur during SALTY LUXE Expeditions.
By participating guests grant permission for their likeness to appear in photographs or video content used by SALTY LUXE for marketing social media or promotional purposes unless written notice is provided prior to the trip.

LIABILITY
SALTY LUXE Expeditions shall not be liable for any injury loss accident delay or irregularity that may occur during the expedition except in cases of gross negligence.
Participants acknowledge that adventure travel involves inherent risks.

ADVENTURE & ACTIVITY RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
SALTY LUXE Expeditions may include activities such as swimming snorkelling boat excursions wildlife encounters hiking or travel in remote locations. Participants acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

PAYMENT DISPUTES
Participants agree to contact SALTY LUXE Expeditions directly to resolve any concerns before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
Any disputes must be brought within Australian courts.
