Turks and Caicos Islands are in the beautiful Caribbean Sea, fringing the Bahamas. Although Turks is becoming more popular of late, these islands still offer the perfect escape for lovers of warm weather, stunning clear waters and those quintessential Caribbean vibes.
We stayed on Providenciales Islands (‘Provo’ to the locals). We loved it for its size, big enough to explore plenty of crystal clear beaches and sample a great variety of cuisine, but small enough to see almost everything! I’d recommend getting a car to move around, as the island’s roads are easy to navigate.
WHERE TO STAY: PROVIDENCIALES TURKS & CAICOS
We recommend the incredible Sing A Song villas, situated in a perfectly calm and clear bay at the Southern end of the island. The property has 3 spacious villa options, all with private pools, ocean views & direct, private beach access. Villas can be rented separately, or together if you’re travelling with a large group!
We were lucky enough to check out all 3 villas & after visiting can definitely see what all the fuss is about. We absolutely loved our stay & will be back for sure.

The largest villa of them all, boasting 3 oceanview bedrooms, indoor / outdoor living spilling onto an enormous deck & infinity pool facing the sea. Although we loved all villas, this was the hero for us! Even though it’s quite expansive, it quickly felt like home for us, due to the thoughtful decor & warm touches.
A one bedroom boutique style accomodation, with large living area, full kitchen & terrace dining, perfect for a romantic getaway. One of our favourite features of this villa is its glass walled pool looking out to the sea.
A 2 bedroom villa with stunning rooftop terrace, boasting panoramic views of the ocean. We loved chilling on the rooftop, it felt like our own private sanctuary & sunset here was particularly magic! This villa has a full kitchen, flowing living / dining areas & gorgeous views from both bedrooms.
WHERE TO EAT: PROVIDENCIALES TURKS & CAICOS
Turks is home to Michelin starred restaurants, high end resorts & beachside cafes offering a feast of cuisine!
We really enjoyed the more local Caribbean style food options to soak up what Turks & Caicos is all about! This way you can sample some of the freshest seafood on the island, dance to reggae beats & meet locals (all with an ocean breeze & your toes in the sand). Don’t miss Omar’s and the Conch Shack, for the islands best barefoot, beachfront dining, delicious coconut rum cocktails & conch burgers!
Things can get a little expensive here like the rest of the Caribbean, but Turks has great grocery options which meant we could enjoy delicious meals at home, which we relished as our villa was so incredible.
WHAT TO DO: PROVIDENCIALES TURKS & CAICOS
And if you’ve had enough relax time at your villa, I’d recommend doing a boat tour to some hidden gems found just off Provo island. We had a private tour with Moana Tours and it was the best day out. They have beautiful new boats and take you in style to Provo’s famous shipwreck site, empty beaches on nearby islands and then drop anchor for lunch in perfect lagoon waters!
Other beaches to check out by car on the island:
Sapodilla Bay – very calm beach with thin strip of sand. Be ready for party vibes, floating bars and music!
Grace Bay beach – one of the best beaches in the world! Very popular, but it’s quite big so there is always enough room to enjoy this pristine stretch of coastline. Make sure you check this out on a low wind day to see it at its most beautiful!
